BREAKING: US Court Find Samsung In Breach Of Apple's Patent Rights. Samsung to pay Apple $1.05 Billion



A U.S. jury on Friday said Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has infringed some of Apple Inc's patents, and that all of those patents are valid.

The verdict in the high-stakes trial between the two tech giants was still being read in a federal courtroom in San Jose, California, and not all of the key legal findings had been announced.


The court odered Samsung to pay Apple $1.05 billion in the high profile lawsuit over smartphone technology.
Apple had sought $2.5B in accusing Samsung of ripping off the design technology of iPhones and iPads.
The jury however held that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 did not infringe Apple design patent on industrial tablet design.

The Jury in their rulling said Apple will not pay Samsung any damages for its patent counter - claims.

The infringements found by the Jury includes the zoom, scroll, navigate and multitouch features.
