I killed My Son To Save Him From Horror - Woman

The Killer Mum and her son

Multi-millionaire Gigi Jordan is accused of murdering her autistic 8-year-old son by force-feeding him prescription drugs in a luxury Manhattan hotel room in 2010.
As she awaits next year’s trial, Jordan, 51, is being detained at Rikers Island, where she spoke to the New York Daily News to explain why she killed her son, Jude, and attempted to take her own life.
The self-made pharmaceutical multi-millionaire claims that sexual abuse that Jude allegedly suffered at the hands of his biological father, as well as the alleged mob involvement and billion dollar scams of his adoptive father drove her to the ‘mercy killing.

On February 4 2010, police forced their way into Jordan’s $2,300-a-night suite at the Peninsula Hotel, where they found Jude on the bed foaming at the mouth and his mother ‘babbling incoherently.’ Authorities were not able to revive Jude.

'The Manhattan DA calls me a child murderer,' Jordan told the Daily News. 'But I tried to kill myself along with my son to save him from a life of sexual torture.’
Jordan argues that she had no motive for ‘murdering’ her son, who she spent her life caring for and loving, including taking him to the best hospitals and doctors.
She dismisses the DA's initial claims that she killed her son to live as a socialite. If she had just wanted to be free of him she'd have just paid to have him institutionalised, she says. This never happened because she loved him, Jordan argued.

Dismissing the DA’s claims that she is insane, Jordan says she killed her son to save him from ‘a life of horror at the hands of his monstrous father.'
Jordan’s top team of lawyers are invoking the concept of ‘altruistic filicide’, or child-killing by parents convinced they are acting in the child's best interest.
And the trial is bound to be a complicated one.

Jordan, a former pharmaceuticals executive and nurse, married her first husband, Ray Mirra, in 1998 after they partnered in massively successful medical companies together.
Jordan claims that Mirra is involved with a Philadelphia mob – La Casa Nostra – and was part of a black market racket for HIV and hemophiliac prescription drugs through his company, Allion Healthcare.
She says that she didn’t know of Mirra’s alleged mob involvement when they married.
In July, The New York State attorney general accused four defendants of selling $274 million worth of outdated, contaminated or diluted black-market HIV drugs through Allion-owned MOMS Pharmacies, reported the Daily News.
Mirra, who has not been charged with any crime, denies all the claims against him.
After separating from Mirra in 2001, Jordan met Bulgarian yoga teacher Emil Tzekov at her gym. They conceived Jude.
Tzekov gave up his legal parental rights to Jude, although he continued to see him sporadically.
Then Mirra, who was still working with and married to Jordan, legally adopted Jude. The couple divorced in November 2001 and, just six days later, Jordan wed Tzekov.
Jordan divorced Tzekov in 2006. Jordan claims that Jude told her that Tzekov had been sexually abusing him since he was a baby.
‘I went to law enforcement officials in three states. I couldn’t get anyone to prosecute his biological father,’ Jordan said.
Tzekov has never been charged with any crime and has denied the allegations, calling his ex-wife ‘totally insane.’
Jordan says she later realised that Mirra had only adopted Jude to put trusts in his name ‘to shield himself’. She accuses Mirra of hiring Tzekov in an attempt to drive her insane because, Jordan alleges, she found out that Mirra was stealing millions from her forging bank transfers.
She also alleges that Mirra hired people to follow her and says he is trying to ‘neutralise’ her because she knows of a bigger illegal drug operation he is involved in.
Mirra’s attorneys released a statement to the Daily News denying all the ‘false and irrational allegations.’
'I was a mother trying to protect my young, my beautiful, abused son from further sexual torture. I was being watched, followed. I couldn’t outrun the mob. I was out of options,’ she told the Daily News.
