Spain continue to lead on FIFA ranking, followed by Germany. England and Uruguay occupy third and fourth positions respectively, while Portugal are fifth. Brazil lost two points on FIFA ranking and occupy number 13th in the world.
Meanwhile, home-based Super Eagles continued with their preparation in Abuja ahead of their friendly match against Niger Republic on 15 August in Niamey.
