Nigeria's Odumosu Qualifies for Finals at the London Olympics

Hurdler, Ajoke Odumosu brought some delight to Team Nigeria Monday evening when she qualified for the semi-final of the 400m hurdles.
Running in the third qualifying heat, the Nigerian was a comfortable winner in 54.44s.
However, even though her time is a new Nigerian record, it was only good enough to put her in sixth place in the list of 21 semi final qualifiers.
The women's 400m hurdles comes up on Wednesday evening.
But in the women's 200m flat, Team Nigeria reverted to type with her two entries failing to progress.
Christy Udoh placed fifth in Heat 1 in 23.19s, while Gloria Asumnu ran 23.43s to place sixth in Heat 3.
And in the women's 100m hurdles, Seun Adigun also flunked after placing fourth in a time of 13.56s in her heat.
