Seven Cultists Nabbed in Imo

The police in Imo have arrested seven suspected cultists at the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, on their way to a meeting.
The alleged cultists were arrested in a convoy of four cars.
Policemen acting on a tip off from the school’s management apprehended the suspected cult group kingpin and others.
Items discovered on the detainees include black berets and other items, signifying that they belonged to the Black Axe confraternity.
Imo Commissioner of Police, Adisa Bolanta, while confirming the arrest of the suspects claimed that the era of criminality was gone in the state.
He assured residents that the force would partner them to rid the state of criminals.
“Let me assure you that we will make Imo State free from kidnappers and other criminal elements and let me warn all criminals to mend their ways.
