NO fewer than 13 persons, Sunday, died in a road crash, which occurred at Ohosu, in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State on the Benin-Ore-Shagamu-Lagos Expressway.
Three persons were also injured in the accident, involving an Anambra Mass Transit Bus and an Inveko Trust Hiace Truck.
Edo Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC Sector Commander, Mr Kenneth Nwaegbe, confirmed the accident, adding that the Anambra Mass transit Bus was driving against traffic when it collided with a Lagos-bound truck.
Nwaegbe said there were three survivors from the accident, all male and had been admitted at an undisclosed hospital.
The sector commander, who said the accident happened at 7.45 a.m., added that investigation into the accident was on going.
