The governor of Taraba State Dambaba Suntai, 51, was involved in a plane crash this evening.
There are conflicting reports on whether he was killed today in a plane he piloted which crashed at the Yola airport in Adamawa state. Greenwich news gathered that his body has been evacuated from the crash site and we cannot independently confirm that Suntai is dead.
Reports claim there were two survivors from the crash.
