Lagos Island Flooded
The on going flooding of the entire country may have hit Logos State. Reports indicate that within 15 minutes of rain, most parts of the commercial nerve center of Nigeria experience severe flooding.
Residents of Lagos Island were today hit by massive flooding which affected several streets. One of our contributors from Lagos, Elekwachi Okechukwu Anthony, a cinematographer/ part time editor, who lives in Lagos Island sent in photographs of flooding which affected Okesuna Street (behind Tafawa Balewa Square), Lagos Island , in Lagos State.
"It has been raining in the area for the past 2 hours." Mr Anthony Said. "The flooding is very severe and has affected the lives of my cousins and my brother in-law who live in the street."
Lots of residents have similars stories and there is not sucour yet in sight for the flood victims in the Area.
