Nollywood Actor, Pete Eneh Has His Leg Amputated

It was tears and anguish at the Parklane Hospital, Enugu, Enugu State Tuesday, when veteran actor, Pete Eneh underwent a major surgery where one of his legs was amputated.

Pete Eneh, a diabetic had a slight injury on set which sources say "he ignored". The injury failed to heal and in January, he was advised by his doctors to have his leg amputated.

The veteran actor couldn't bring himself to undergo such an operation. The health situation got even more critical and since July he had been in the Amenity ward. The injury at this point had deteriorated so much that the doctors say the amputation has to be done from the mid-thigh.

Pete Eneh was surrounded by his immediate family at the Park-lane Hospital yesterday. He appeared so sad and managed to comfort his wife who lamented and wailed with grief. "The journey has just started," he was quoted saying, "and we will finish it."

Hospital sources believe the surgery should have taken place at press time.

I feel so sorry for all diabetics who lose legs or feet to small injuries that don't heal. Hopefully others will find out about the www.venowave.com which is a small portable battery powered circulation booster and may help with healing as it has done for the fortunate few who have found out about it. If readers know about other diabetics or pete please let them know about this wonderful little machine.
